Dawn’s first crack

No one denies the power of sleep. Our routine activities, our dreams, ambitions must all give way to the hold that sleep has over us as Edward Thomas said;

Here love ends, despair, ambition ends; all pleasure and all trouble, although most sweet that is sweeter than tasks most noble.

Things that are most dearly cherished, as a favourite book or a loved face are willingly relinquished as we find ourselves slipping gently into the blessed world of sleep as Thomas said in the same poem that;

There is not any book or face of dearest look that I would not turn from now To go into the unknown I must enter, and leave, alone. I know not now.

Sleep has an equalizing effect: all are subject to its spellbinding power: the rich and poor, the good and evil. Thomas is absolutely right about the power of sleep but at the same time we can also not deny the presence of insomnia. There can be various reasons for that but one common reason is unawareness. Most of us are unfamiliar of the fact that which mattress is suitable for our spine because we can not sleep with aching back.

Out of all the mattresses the best mattress for the spine is the memory foam mattress that keeps spine in its natural alignment. Thus when you sleep on memory foam mattress or topper it gives you better sleep by distributing your weight over a larger area of your body so that the pressure at any one point is much lower.

So sleep on the memory foam mattress so that you should not wait for the dawn’s first crack throughout the night.
